    Mariam Clinic provides free health care to those who are struggling to make ends meet and cannot afford adequate medical care. Mariam Clinic provides services to adults (age 18+) who are at or below 200% of the poverty level who do not have any health insurance.

    Mariam Clinic Policy on COVID-19 Vaccine Requirement

    Effective: September 12, 2021


    1. All are required to be vaccinated against COVID-19 in order to conduct in-person appointments and work at the Clinic and can be asked to furnish proof of vaccination.

    2. Anyone not vaccinated regardless of the reason will be required to perform their duties remotely (telemedicine) only.


    1. At the time of making an appointment, patients should be asked if they are vaccinated against COVID-19 and required to furnish proof of vaccination. Patients who are not vaccinated against COVID-19 should not be offered in-person appointments and should only be seen remotely via telemedicine.

    2. In situations where a patient who is unvaccinated but must be seen in-person due to the health/medical condition assessment warranting such then the patient should be required to provide a negative COVID-19 test conducted within 72 hours prior to the appointment date at Mariam Clinic. Patient will be required to cover the cost of COVID-19 test.

    3. Patients who are vaccinated and want to be seen in-person, and may have COVID-related symptoms, please know that Mariam Clinic is NOT able to provide COVID testing at this time.



    1. All volunteers are required to be vaccinated against COVID-19 vaccine and furnish proof of vaccination to volunteer in-person at Mariam Clinic.

    2. Any volunteer deciding not to get COVID-19 vaccine or failing to furnish proof of vaccination will not be allowed to do in-person volunteer work at Mariam Clinic. Such volunteers will be considered as relinquishing their role as volunteer at Mariam Clinic.

    3. Volunteer Application Form to be revised/updated to include question/information on COVID-19 vaccination.
